I present a new arrival into the art market: the DORA 2.0 lamp.
The lamp combines perfect Swedish design, moderate artistry and radical innovativeness.
The item has an adjustable arm and a head that makes easy the directing of the light. An ordinary energy-saving bulb has been substituted with a mini video beam, which lets the light become an object with additional meanings.
The new version of the DORA lamp is fitted with voice recognition software. On the open pages of a book the lamp projects the words that it “hears”. The sentences projected onto the pages are aligned one below the other, and when they reach the bottom of the page they start anew where the first phrases have already faded.
The information is stored in a special server, and can be viewed online.
Size: Height: 51.5 m, Wall lamp, diameter: 15 cm, Cable, length: 2.5 m
