International Digital Arts Festival DA Fest is opening a call for participants for three workshops during the 2013 festival.

Students and professional young artists can apply for the following workshops:

Edison – Sound. Light. Space - led by Sibin Vassilev and Fabian Bleisch (BG/DE), 10-14.09.2013, 14:00-18:00, Studio 1

 

Intro to Visual Live-Coding - led by Rob Fischer (DE), 11-12.09.2013, 13:00-18:00, Studio 60

 

Xth Sense, Biophysical Music - led by Marco Donnarumma (IT/UK), 12-14.09.2013, 14:00-18:00, Studio 54

Most of the workshops have 12 available places, of which 6 are reserved for current and former students of the National Academy of Art. The remaining places will be distributed among the other candidates. Only Xth Sense, Biophysical Music workshop has limit to 10 participants, of which 5 reserved for students of the NAA, and 5 for the other candidates.

The working language of all workshops is English.

Applicants are requested to submit a brief curriculum vitae and motivation for their participation in the workshop.

Participation in all workshops is free of charge. 

Selected applicants will be notified by September 9, 2013 and are requested to confirm their participation by September 10 2013.

About DA Fest

DA Fest is organised by the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. 

The festival programme includes performances, film and video screenings, workshops, presentations and an exhibition, focusing on contemporary artistic trends in research and technology, and aims to present important advances in the development of digital arts. All events take place at 1, Shipka Str, from September 10 to 14, 2013.
