Rosen Petkov is one of the founders of the event, a driving force of “Computer Space” and, currently, its chief organizer. Dr Petkov has more than 20 years’ experience in working for and assisting the development of computer arts in Bulgaria. A former panel member in various forums and festivals, Dr Petkov is the director of a series of projects in the world of computer graphics, animation, multimedia, electronic music and Web design, among them “Constitution for Kids”, “Learn Parliament”, “E-games: Empowering Youth Work”, “The Violence of Information”, “E-portfolio for Your Future”. He is the author of scientific works and the winner of prizes in the fields of graphic design, educational computer games, electronic portfolio and educational electronic systems. Dr Petkov is lecturer in computer graphics at Sofia University of Technology and one of the founders of the Graphics Design major at New Bulgarian University. He is the chairman of the Students' Society for Computer Art, which has so far carried out more than 120 projects in the fields of computer sciences and contemporary media. He is the author of the book "On Old Books and Computer Arts".
